to benefit the March of Dimes March for Babies Open to the Public! Date: Sunday, May 1, 2011 Where: The Knights of Columbus 6111 Columbia Way Bowie MD 21114 Time: Doors and concession open at 1 pm, bidding starts at 2 pm. Paddles are $3 each, 2 for $5 and 5 for $10. What is QuarterMania? QuarterMania is a fun evening of entertainment and bargains. Our vendors will each be offering a selection of products that retail for up to $100. Each item is up for bid off based on it's retail price for 1 to 4 quarters per bid. Guest will purchase paddle(s) at the door, and a chip with a number matching the paddle number(s) will be added into the draw bin. As each item is offered up for bid, guests will bid the number of quarters for the item for each paddle that they want to play (so if a guest has 1 paddle and it is a 1 quarter bid, they'll put 25 cents in the basket; if they want to play 2 paddles and it is a 1 quarter bid, they'd put 1 quarter for each of the paddles into the basket, or 50 cents). A number is then drawn and if it matches the paddle the guest is holding up, they bought the item for a steal (no additional payment required)! If they chose not to bid on the item and their number is drawn, another number will be drawn until a bidding number is picked (you gotta play to win!) Guests choose which items they are going to bid on, so they can spend as much or as little as they want. Bring your quarters for bidding (a great way to use up your spare change) and quarters will also be available for purchase. We will have over 100 items, all for $1 or less! Confirmed Vendors Include:
